Tween and teen bedrooms are a constant conundrum. And we’re not even talking about the mess (dirty dishes and wrappers everywhere!), or the fact that once our kids hit 12, they practically never come out any more. We’re talking about the furniture and decor. They’re outgrowing their little kid themes, and want to feel like their space is more grown up — but they’re picky about “the vibe” and super particular about the way their bedrooms express who they are.
Luckily, teen furniture is a thing. The pieces are basic enough to adapt to your kid’s ever-changing preferences, grown up enough to make their bedroom feel almost like a mini-apartment, and often do double duty — a loft bed with a desk underneath, or a futon that has storage underneath, or a bedside table that’s also a charging station for their 10,000 electronic devices.
So where can a parent find this teen-approved furniture to deck out their kid’s space? The internet, of course! We’ve put together a list of the best places to buy furniture for teens online, and we think you — and, most importantly, your teenager — will love some of the unique finds.
