‘The 100’ Cast: Where Are the Teen Sci-Fi Stars Now?

In the realm of 2010s science fiction shows, there is nothing quite like the hit CW teen drama The 100. The plot follows 100 juvenile delinquents who soon become the first humans on Earth in over 97 years. But while on the ground, they learn that not everything is what it seems and some people are darker and more cruel than they appear.

The 100 was nominated for a Primetime Emmy and, to this day, remains the most-watched show on The CW in that Wednesday at 8 P.M. EST time slot. And now, to celebrate the show ending five years ago, we’ve uncovered what the cast has been up to, including which of the stars married one another. Keep scrolling for more.

Character played: Clarke Griffin

Best known for: Pirate Islands (2003), Sleepover Club (2003), Neighbours (2003 to 2008), Christmas Inheritance (2017) and Quantum Leap (2023 to 2024).

Personal life: Taylor married her co-star from The 100, Bob Morley, in 2019, and they have one child.

Thoughts on The 100: “I am very sentimentally attached to Season 1. It’s so nostalgic. It was my first American show, it was my first lead and it was my first chance to show people what I could do. Every day on set, I felt like I was in a dream. Looking back, it’s still my favorite season and I just love it.”

Bob Morley

Character played: Bellamy Blake

Best known for: Home and Away (2006 to 2008), Neighbours (2011 to 2013), Love Me (2021 to 2023) and In Limbo (2023).

Personal life: As noted, Morley is married to Taylor and has one child with her.

Thoughts on The 100:  “The thing about playing someone with the connotation of ‘bad’ is that they don’t see themselves that way. I had to try to find the good in him or the reasons why he was making those poor choices. As we went along and he made a bunch more questionable choices, I was excited to pull that apart.”

Marie Avgeropoulos

Character played:Octavia Blake

Best known for:  I Love You, Beth Cooper (2009), Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010), Hunt to Kill (2020), 50/50 (2011), Cult (2013), Tracers (2015) and Queen of the Ring (2024).

Personal life: Avgeropoulos famously dated actor Taylor Lautner from 2013 to 2015.

Thoughts on The 100: “It kicks *ss. When I watched it, I thought it felt like a movie. It didn’t feel like television.”

Thomas McDonell

Character played:Finn Collins

Best known for: Prom (2011), Fun Size (2012), The Long Road Home (2017) and Simchas and Sorrows (2022).

Personal life:  McDonell is from Manhattan, New York.

Thoughts on The 100:  It was really fun to imagine these particular circumstances about being on Earth for the first time, breathing proper air for the first time, all that stuff. That was all really fun to play with and a bit like real life where I try to seek out new experiences.”

Lindsey Morgan

Character played:Raven Reyes

Best known for: A Thin Line (2011), General Hospital (2012 to 2013), Casa Vita (2016), Inside Game (2019), Walker (2021) and Scrambled (2023).

Personal life: Morgan married actor Shaun Sipos in 2023.

Thoughts on The 100: “It was the first role where I felt this character isn’t informed by the way she looks, and it wasn’t about how pretty she was or not pretty she was or who liked her or who didn’t like her, it didn’t matter! It was more about her being a b*d*ss and super-smart and saving the day.”

Richard Harmon

Character played: John Murphy

Best known for: School of Life (2005), Rise (2009 to 2010), Tower Prep (2010), The Killing (2011 to 2012), Bates Motel (2013 to 2014), Continuum (2012 to 2015), The Age of Adaline (2015),  I Still See You (2018),  Fakes (2022) and Lowlifes (2024).

Personal life: Harmon is from  Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

Thoughts on The 100:I was excited when I first read Episode 1, and I saw him [Murphy] kind of at odds with everyone. I was excited to try something different, to almost bring him back a little further to season 1 stuff. It was almost like we did it in between, and I wanted to go further that way with him.”

Ricky Whittle

Character played:: Lincoln

BEST KNOWN FOR: Dream Team (2002 to 2007), Hollyoaks (2006 to 2011), Mistresses (2014 to 2015) and American Gods (2017 to 2021).

Personal life: Whittle is from Oldham, Lancashire, England, UK.

Thoughts on The 100: Fans were shocked by Whittle’s character’s death in season 3 and, according to the actor, his departure was because creator Jason Rothenberg “was professionally bullying me, cutting out all the storylines that I was supposed to be doing, cutting lines, cutting everything out, trying to make my character and myself as insignificant as possible.”

Paige Turco

Character played: Dr. Abigail Griffin

Best known for: Guiding Light (1987 to 1989), All My Children (1989 to 1992), Party of Five (1997 to 1998), The Agency (2001 to 2003), The Game Plan (2007) and Books of Blood (2020).

Personal life: Turco was married to Jason O’Mara from 2003 until 2017, and they share one child.

Thoughts on The 100: “What I loved about my character is that there was such a human quality to her, even if it’s sci-fi. And that’s the part I really enjoyed: the hope Abby brought. The humanity. Whether or not she took a different path toward the end, I still believe she had hope, which is very human even in a sci-fi world.”

Henry Ian Cusick

Character played:Marcus Kane

BEST KNOWN FOR: Casualty (2001 to 2002), Lost (2005 to 2010), Hitman (2007),  Scandal (2012 to 2015), MacGyver (2020 to 2021), Big Sky (2022 to 2023) and The Wingfeather Saga (2022 to 2024).

Personal life: Cusick has been married to Annie Cusick Wood since 1992, and they have three children.

Thoughts on The 100: “The character you meet at the beginning of the show is not the same character you meet at the end of the show. He has a certain journey and a certain arc where he changes. You get a bit of humanity out of the man. “

Isaiah Washington

Character played: Thelonius Jaha

Best known for:  Loving (1992), Romeo Must Die (2000), Ghost Ship (2002), Hollywood Homicide (2003), Grey’s Anatomy (2005 to 2014), Hurricane Season (2009), Keys to the City (2019) and God’s Not Dead: In God We Trust (2024).

Personal life:  Washington has been married to Jenisa Marie Garland since 1996, and they have three children.

Thoughts on The 100: “Our show takes you to the darkness, but there’s also retribution and redemption, as well as a sense of hope. And that’s where Chancellor Jaha comes in. Whatever his fate will be, his presence is still going to be very largely hopeful. I’m not saying it’s spiritual and it’s not perfectly moral, but it’s certainly hopeful to remind everyone that we could be better.”

Alycia Debnam-Carey

Character played: Lexa

Best known for:  Into the Storm (2014), The Devil’s Hand (2014), Fear the Walking Dead (2015 to 2023) and It’s What’s Inside (2024).

Personal life: Debnam-Carey is from Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Thoughts on The 100: Regarding her departure from the show, Debnam-Carey said, “That decision was never made from a negative point of view; it was never an attempt to bait or to inflame a social issue. It was a creative choice and it didn’t come at the expense of thinking about a social issue—maybe it should have more. But I definitely want fans to think that the love for Lexa on the show and the collaboration that we’ve all made on that show has only come from a good place.”
