Kirsten Vangsness, who portrays Penelope Garcia on Criminal Minds, is currently engaged to actor and writer Keith Hanson. The couple announced their engagement in 2015, however, no news of a marriage has been reported.
“He’s the perfect partner for me,” Vangsness explained. “When you’re so into somebody and you get to just mush up next to them—that’s the best part of it.”
A.J. Cook and Nathan Andersen

You know A.J. Cook as Criminal Minds’ Jennifer Jareau, but did you know the actress is married in real life? Cook has been married to Nathan Andersen for nearly 25 years. The couple originally met in a film class at Utah Valley University.
Cook and Andersen tied the knot in an August 2001 wedding. Seven years later, the couple welcomed their first child, son Mekhai Allan Andersen, on September 13, 2008. In 2015, they had their second son, Phoenix Sky.
On their 20th anniversary, Cook shared a sweet Instagram post that read, “20 years young, this marriage of ours. We’ve got these two amazing boys, a wrinkled old wedding dress and hearts in our eyes to show for it.”
Joe Mantegna and Arlene Vrhel

Joe Mantegna has been with his high school sweetheart for more than five decades. Mantegna, who portrays David Rossi, first met wife Arlene Vrhel in 1969 while in high school after they were both cast in a local production of Hair.
The couple dated for almost six years before marrying in 1975 on top of the Eiffel Tower. Mantegna and Vrhel welcomed two children together: daughter Mia, on June 5, 1987, and daughter Gina on April 17, 1990. Gina, who later changed her name to Gia, became an actress like her father, and can be seen in The Middle (2009-2018).
Thomas Gibson and Christine Gibson

Thomas Gibson, who played Aaron Hotchner on Criminal Minds, was previously married to Christine Gibson for more than 20 years. The couple exchanged vows on April 3, 1993. The Gibsons later welcomed three children during their marriage: son James in 1999, son Travis in 2002 and daughter Agatha in 2004.
Gibson and his wife quietly filed for divorce in 2014, keeping their reasons private to protect their children, though it wasn’t finalized until 2018.
Shemar Moore and Jesiree Dizon

Shemar Moore, who you may know as Derek Morgan, was in a long-term relationship with Jesiree Dizon. The couple met years ago but reconnected in 2020 and eventually their relationship blossomed into a romance.
Dizon, like Moore, is an actor known for appearing on shows like True Blood and Hawaii Five-0. She also works as a model and a makeup artist.
During their relationship, Moore and Dizon welcomed a daughter, Frankie Melelina Kapule Moore, on January 24, 2023. Moore shared the news, writing, “FRANKIE MOORE!!!! BABY GIRL in da building!!!” on his Instagram.
After five years together, Moore and Dizon decided to end their relationship in early 2025.
Paget Brewster and Steve Damstra

Paget Brewster, who is known as Emily Prentiss on Criminal Minds, is married to songwriter Steve Damstra. The couple actually has fellow Criminal Minds star Matthew Gray Gubler to thank for their relationship, as he introduced the pair.
They became engaged in 2013 and officially wed in October 2014. Gubler, who is a mutual friend to Brewster and Damstra, even officiated the wedding at the request of the couple.
Aisha Tyler and Jeff Tietjens

Criminal Minds’ Aisha Tyler, who you know as Dr. Tara Lewis, was married to her college sweetheart, Jeff Tietjens, for over 20 years. The couple met as teenagers while attending Dartmouth College.
“My husband and I met when I was a teenager and I’ve been with him for more than half of my adult life,” Tyler explained. They exchanged vows in 1994 and were together until 2017.
Tyler previously opened up about their struggles to have children and eventually decided not to try again, which may have led to their end as a couple, although they haven’t addressed their reason.
