1. Megan Thee Stallion and NBA Star Klay Thompson Hint at a Major Relationship Move

Megan Thee Stallion and NBA star Klay Thompson have fans in a frenzy after the rapper shared a photo dump that looked far too domestic to ignore. The first image, showing the couple making a heart with their hands while holding keys, immediately set the internet ablaze with speculation that the two might have just bought a home together. The post only fueled the rumors further, featuring cozy date-night snaps, mirror selfies, and even one shot where Megan appears to be signing what looks suspiciously like official paperwork. Within hours, her comments were flooded with congratulatory messages and heart emojis, while fans on TikTok and X celebrated what they’re calling “the soft life era” for the Houston star.

Neither Megan Thee Stallion nor Klay Thompson has confirmed anything yet, but their relationship has quickly become one of the most talked-about pairings of the year. The rapper’s relationship with the Golden State Warriors guard seems to be thriving, as she’s been spotted courtside multiple times, cheering him on during preseason matchups against the Lakers, Spurs, and OKC. Whether it’s a new home, a fresh chapter, or just a playful flex, the internet is convinced something major is brewing. One thing’s for sure: if this post is any hint, Megan Thee Stallion’s relationship is heating up in a major way.

2. Burna Boy’s “City Boys” Earns Gold Certification in the U.S.

Nigerian megastar Burna Boy has achieved another major career milestone as his chart-topping single “City Boys” officially earns Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The certification, confirmed on Wednesday, October 29, recognizes over 500,000 units in combined sales and streams across the United States. The Grammy Award-winning artist continues to break global barriers, solidifying his position as one of Afrobeats’ most powerful forces in mainstream music.

Originally released as part of his 2023 album I Told Them…, “City Boys” quickly emerged as a standout hit, blending Afrobeats with elements of hip-hop and urban pop. Its infectious rhythm and Burna Boy’s signature charisma have made it a fan favorite, dominating playlists, festivals, and live performances. This latest recognition adds to Burna Boy’s growing list of international accolades, highlighting not only his star power but also the expanding influence of African music in the U.S. market.

3. WHO Condemns Killings of Patients and Civilians Amid Escalating Violence in El Fasher, Sudan

The World Health Organization (WHO) has strongly condemned the reported killing of more than 460 patients and their companions and the abduction of six health workers on 28 October at the Saudi Maternity Hospital in El Fasher, North Darfur. The organization described the incident as part of a “rapidly worsening crisis” marked by escalating violence, siege conditions, and a collapsing health system. The hospital, the only partially functioning medical facility in the area, had already come under attack four times this month, most recently on 26 October, when one nurse was killed and three others injured.

According to the WHO, the ongoing conflict in El Fasher has claimed the lives of 46 health workers, injured 48, and left the status of staff from three nongovernmental organizations unknown. More than 260,000 people remain trapped in the city with limited access to food, water, or health care, while thousands have fled to nearby areas such as Tawila and rural El Fasher. The crisis is being compounded by a rapidly spreading cholera outbreak, with 272 suspected cases and 32 deaths reported in El Fasher alone this year. WHO teams are working to sustain limited health services and move 20 metric tons of medical supplies from Nyala to Tawila, while urging an immediate end to hostilities and unimpeded humanitarian access to deliver lifesaving aid.

4. Billie Eilish Calls Out Billionaires while Giving a Speech in a Room with Mark Zuckerberg

Billie Eilish used her moment in the spotlight at the WSJ. Magazine 2025 Innovator Awards to call for greater compassion and redistribution of wealth. Accepting the Music Innovator Award on Wednesday, October 29, the 23-year-old Grammy winner addressed the audience at New York’s Museum of Modern Art, telling attendees, “We’re in a time right now where the world is really, really bad and really dark and people need empathy and help more than, kind of, ever, especially in our country. I’d say if you have money, it would be great to use it for good things, maybe give it to some people that need it.” Eilish added pointedly, “Love you all, but there’s a few people in here that have a lot more money than me. If you’re a billionaire, why are you a billionaire? No hate, but yeah, give your money away, shorties.”

The crowd, which included Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan, Hailey Bieber, George Lucas, Spike Lee, and others, reacted with mixed laughter and applause. However, reports say that Zuckerberg notably did not clap. The Facebook founder, whose estimated net worth sits around $257 billion, attended alongside Chan, who was honored as the Philanthropy in Science Innovator for her work through the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Eilish, meanwhile, demonstrated her own commitment to social causes: moments before her speech, Stephen Colbert announced that the singer had donated $11.5 million from her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour to initiatives supporting food equity and climate justice.

5. Mayweather vs. Pacquiao 2 in Talks for Blockbuster Netflix Event

A long-awaited rematch between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao could finally be on the horizon. Speaking at a news conference on Wednesday, Pacquiao confirmed that discussions are underway for what would be a second clash between the boxing legends. “Right now we have a lot of negotiations about my next fight; there’s a possible rematch with Floyd Mayweather,” Pacquiao said. “There’s a lot of ongoing negotiations right now, so it’s hard to plan what fight I’m going to post. I’m waiting for the final negotiation.” Their first meeting, the blockbuster Fight of the Century in May 2015, ended in a unanimous decision for Mayweather. His sharp defense and counterpunching neutralized Pacquiao’s trademark aggression over 12 rounds. Though financially successful, the bout drew criticism from fans who found the action underwhelming, with Pacquiao later revealing he had fought with a shoulder injury.

If finalized, the rematch would add to a packed 2026 for Mayweather, who recently announced an exhibition fight against Mike Tyson. “I’ve been doing this for 30 years, and there hasn’t been a single fighter that can tarnish my legacy,” Mayweather said in a statement, promising a “legendary” event. Responding to critics who labeled the Tyson fight a “money grab,” Mayweather took to social media with his trademark bravado, saying, “People only talk about winners—I’m a winner, so continue to talk.” Whether his showdown with Pacquiao becomes official remains to be seen, but anticipation is already building for what could be one of the biggest boxing events of 2026.
