Directed by Nico Ballesteros, the film captures more than 3,000 hours of footage, much of it recorded on iPhones, showing West navigating marriage troubles, his 2020 presidential campaign attempt, and several failed business ventures. Scores of Palestinians fled Gaza City on Saturday as Israel intensified its offensive, with overnight strikes killing at least 14 people, according to local health officials. Many evacuees pushed carts of belongings or carried what they could on their backs as they made their way south through a corridor opened by the Israeli military. Aid groups have warned that the mass displacement will worsen Gaza’s already dire humanitarian crisis. Famine has been declared, and basic services such as water, electricity, and internet remain cut off. Gaza’s Health Ministry says more than 65,000 people have been killed since the conflict began nearly two years ago.
In Israel, thousands gathered in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv to demand that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu negotiate an end to the war and secure the release of the 48 remaining hostages held by Hamas. Fewer than half of whom are believed to be alive. Protesters unfurled a massive black banner urging U.S. President Donald Trump to intervene. Meanwhile, families of hostages accused Netanyahu of prolonging the war for political survival. Meanwhile, UNICEF reported that four of its aid trucks carrying therapeutic food for malnourished children were looted at gunpoint in Gaza City on Friday, a development the U.N. warned could further jeopardize relief efforts. Over the weekend, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada released statements recognizing Palestine as a state. They cited the growing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza as one of the reasons for the move.

The beloved star has announced the release of her first memoir, PHASES, arriving March 31, 2026, through Hanover Square Press. Co-written with music journalist Gerrick Kennedy, the book will trace Brandy’s journey from her roots in McComb, Miss., to becoming a platinum-selling artist by age 15, starring in the hit sitcom Moesha, and making history as Disney’s first Black Cinderella.

Noah Lyles secured his fourth straight 200-meter world title at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, matching Usain Bolt’s iconic winning streak from 2009 to 2015. Lyles clocked 19.52 seconds, edging fellow American Kenny Bednarek (19.58) and Jamaica’s Bryan Levell (19.64). The victory comes after Lyles ran the fastest 200m time of the year, 19.63, at the USATF Outdoor Championships in August. Reflecting on his win, Lyles said, “I wanted it pretty bad… I wanted to rewrite a memory here in Tokyo,” adding that he plans to return in 2027 to become the only man to win five 200m titles.
It was also a historic night for Melissa Jefferson-Wooden, who became the first American woman to win both the 100m and 200m at a single World Championships. She captured the 200m gold in 21.68 seconds, the fastest time in the world in two years, ahead of Great Britain’s Amy Hunt (22.14) and Jamaica’s Shericka Jackson (22.18). Jefferson-Wooden has now won 20 of 22 races this season, including the American titles in both sprints, and could add another medal in the 4x100m relay later this week.
