Cynthia Erivo’s Louboutin Hot Chick Pumps & Vivienne Westwood Gown
Cynthia Erivo’s Christian Louboutin “Hot Chick” pumps, coupled with her sparkling jewelry, was undoubtedly the best part of her Vanity Fair Oscars party outfit.
They may be simple in black suede, but they stay true to their name with their scalloped design that adds an element of sensuality to the outfit. Standing at a tall 4-inch height, the stilettos enhance the glamour, sex appeal, and confidence that Erivo exudes. They also have pointed toes that add a touch of timeless elegance to the classic style.
Despite the simplicity of the pumps, they are, to me, a sophisticated addition to Erivo’s rather tacky dress.

I appreciate Cynthia’s creativity and experimentation with her red carpet looks, but I must admit this particular outfit was a bit of a letdown. The ivory tulle gown looks more like a hot mess than a fashion statement, in my opinion.
It features layers of cascading sheer tulle that drapes her curves, creating a one-shoulder neckline and a wraparound bodice, but the overall execution comes across as a bit chaotic and busy. It also has a striking black ribbon and a string of pearls on the other side, which did the dress no good.
If you haven’t guessed it yet, this piece is the “Alexandra” from Vivienne Westwood’s bridal collection. While the dress looked great on the model, it regrettably didn’t quite live up to its potential on Cynthia.
Erivo kept her essentials in the Vivienne Westwood Belle Woven Heart Frame Purse in ivory, finished with faux pearl beaded top handles. Her choice of accessories from Marli New York was great, but I find them a bit overwhelming with the delicate tulle dress.
She adorned her neck with the High Style Darli necklace, adding a touch of luxury to her tulle dress. Completing the look, she accessorized further with the Cleo Rev Diamond Earrings, Moonlight rings, and the Darli Convertible ring.

Hunter Schafer never fails to impress with her “less is more” approach to style. At this year’s Vanity Fair Oscars, she demonstrated her fashion prowess once again, wearing a pair of black Aquazzura “Tati” sandals.

Despite its simplicity, the gown is quite striking! The deep V-shaped plunging neckline teases down to her navel, drawing attention to her physique. The halterneck and open back enhance its sensual appeal, adding even more allure to the look.
Hunter also has a voluminous faux fur coat, adding texture and a rockstar vibe, but I would have liked it if she had not worn it to let the gown speak for itself.

Giving the head-to-toe black ensemble a hint of gothic twist, Kendrick wore a pair of $2,800 Gabriel & Co. earrings featuring 14k white gold, black enamel, and diamonds, complementing her outfit. They also have shorter vamps that display the toe cleavage, adding a touch of sexiness to the look, and narrow and tapered high heels, creating a more elongating effect.
I’m not surprised Jodie chose these pumps for the Oscars after-party! They’re a versatile option that can be paired with a range of colors and outfits. In Jodie’s case, she wore them with an avant-garde ivory dress, creating a polished and refined look. I love how the pumps’ streamlined, pointed shape contrasts with the gown’s bold architectural lines, adding balance to the overall look.

I believe this no longer needs accessorizing, but the addition of Pasquale Bruni jewelry made the look even more luxurious. She wore the Goddess Garden necklace, which featured a large pear-cut emerald pendant surrounded by diamonds. It hung gracefully from two rows of dazzling diamonds in the shape of flowers, creating a stunning and eye-catching design.
