Listen, I kind of hate to admit it, but I’m kind of a sucker for celebrity mom content. You get a peek behind the curtain, maybe discover a life-changing lip balm, and if you’re really lucky, witness someone with a full-time glam squad pretend they’re “just like us” while recommending a $20 body butter. (Some celebs are more convincing than others.) So when Hailey Bieber dropped her pregnancy and postpartum essentials list in her Instagram Stories this week—as her son Jack Blues approaches his first birthday—something refreshing happened. No sponsorship disclaimers. No swipe-up links. Just 23 items she “couldn’t live without” during her journey into motherhood.

Hailey Bieber pregnancy and postpartum must-haves
Now, I’m not naive enough to think Hailey’s pregnancy experience involved the same sleepless nights spent Googling “is this normal” at 3 AM that the rest of us endure. (When you have access to on-call everything, the bar for “couldn’t live without” probably sits a little higher.) But credit where credit’s due—her list reads more like advice from your best friend’s older sister than a carefully curated brand partnership.

We’re talking Italian-made Silverette nipple cups that postpartum and breastfeeding moms like us have sworn by for generations, Earth Mama nipple butter that midwives have been recommending since before Instagram existed, and yes, even her own Rhode lip treatment that I begrudgingly admit leaves your lips better after just one use. (I think I got about 12 out of the tube before my teenage daughter stole it.) She also included my holy grail Naturium Body Butter which is the best bodycare $20 can buy. Sure, she’s got the resources most of us can only dream of, but at least she’s sharing the actually good stuff.

Bumpology
•
$32.99
This doctor-developed shea, mango, and cocoa butter blend gets rave reviews for its deep hydration and help with itchiness. It’s a little on the greasy side, so slather it on at night or give yourself a few extra minutes for it to absorb before getting dressed.
Glow Organics
•
$24.99
Similarly, this whipped version offers hydration and itch relief, but is more absorbent and less greasy than the Bumpology pick. A girl’s gotta have options, right?
TriLASTIN
•
$58
Stretch marks are an incredibly natural and common response to, oh, I don’t know, growing a whole entire person inside your body? And while that’s a real badge of honor, I’m also in the “maybe I can tone these down” camp. TriLASTIN has recently popped onto my radar and I have to say, I’m impressed with the results I’ve seen as well as their not-over-the-top or gimmicky marketing.
rhode
•
$32
A lightweight and calming moisturizer is postpartum skin’s BFF. I’ve not personally used this award-winner, but the impressive list of ingredients has my interest piqued.
rhode
Can confirm that this is actually one of the best lip treatments out there. (I say this as someone who has personally tested approximately four billion.) It’s thick but not uncomfortably sticky, lasts for hours and hydrates like a champ. Also, the salted caramel flavor is divine.
Naturium
•
$19.99
From their overnight lip mask that blows Laneige out of the water (at half the price) to this luxe but still totes affordable body butter, Naturium can do no wrong in my book. Look at me being so celeb-like.
Silverette
•
$59.99
Super helpful in keep your sensitive bits feeling 100% while you’re pumping or breastfeeding, these nickel-free handmade cups have been soothing moms for as long as we can recall.
Skims
•
$26 $44
This particular style may be on its way out, but there are a few sizes and colors left at a very reasonable $26.
Skims
•
$22
Some may opt for granny panties which, no judgement, but in the event you just cannot, sub in some ultra-comfy cotton boy shorts.
Momcozy
•
$199
Wearable pump options have sky rocketed in recent years which means they no longer have to cost a bajillion dollars. I love that Hailey recommended this reasonably priced and award-winning model from Momcozy which comes equipped with three modes and nine suction levels to help you pump comfortably and effectively.
Bio-Oil
•
$24.20
An all-natural alternative to their cult-favorite Bio-Oil, this preventative and treatment oil is a go-to for stretch marks and scars of any kind. The lightweight formula includes powerful plant oils and skin loving ingredients, like rosehip oil, lavender oil, chamomile oil, and patchouli oil and none of the nasties like mineral oil, fragrance or parabens.
Coterie
Not surprised to see Coterie on the list! Coterie has upgraded basically every aspect of diapering. Their plush, cashmere-like disposable diapers absorb moisture super fast to prevent not only leaks, but rash and redness as well. The eco-friendly design is also free of fragrance, lotion, latex, rubber, dyes, alcohol, heavy metals, parabens, phthalates, chlorine bleaching, VOCs, and optical brighteners.
Bumpsuit
•
$145
I need another lounge set like I need a hole in the head, but these kind of have me in a chokehold. I mean, they look criminally cozy but also so chic. Damn you, Hailey Bieber.
Bumpsuit
•
$89
With adjustable, compressive support Bumpsuit’s Velcro Waist Trainer is ideal for both postpartum and c-section recovery.
Bumpsuit
•
$275
With enough padding and structure to be comfortable for hours and a minimalistic go-with-everything aesthetic, Bumpsuit’s Armadillo Baby Carrier is a no-brainer.
Aloha Collection
•
$50
As any seasoned mom could tell you, wipeable fabrics are a true godsend. And while we too adore the Aloha Collection, their wipe-down factor is just the tip of the iceberg. They’re also relentlessly durable, perfect for travel and in the case of their totes, reversible as well.
Bombas
•
$30
From improving circulation, to preventing blood clots, to relieving aches and pains, you’ll probably be digging your fave compression socks out of your sock drawer well after pregnancy is over. They also reduce lactic acid buildup, help prevent varicose veins, and reduce swelling and inflammation if you needed more reasons to embrace them. I love that Bombas got the shout out here as they make it their mission to help you feel more comfortable, and to help others in need. For every pair of socks purchased, Bombas donates a pair of socks to a homeless shelter, as they know that socks are the #1 most requested clothing item.
Earth Mama
•
$8.99
Like Bieber, Motherly editors also swear by this rich and creamy formula that provides protection and relief to chapped nipples. It’s lanolin-free and powered by calendula that not only eases chapping and irritation, but also works to moisturize all dry, rough skin and even works as lip balm. Best of all, you don’t even have to wipe it off before feeding.
Weleda
•
$14.49
One of our top picks for diaper cream, this European brand features calendula, along with other natural extracts and oils, to combat diaper rash. Because of its natural makeup, we’ve found this diaper rash cream to be especially effective for babies with super sensitive skin.
