Best of March 2025: Top Ten Reader Favorites In Fashion & Beauty | Jo-Lynne Shane

Well, we made it to April! Do you have any good April Fool’s Day pranks up your sleeve? I’m not much of a fan, to be honest—probably because I’m gullible and always fall for them. I’ll do my best to be on my guard today.

Meanwhile, let’s take a look back at what was popular in March. These were the top-selling fashion and beauty finds from last month. I split them into two separate lists to keep things nice and organized!

Top Ten Fashion Favorites

First, I’ve got the 10 best-selling fashion items, according to how many orders were placed through these links. These are listed in typical Top Ten order, with the most popular one last.

#10. EVEREVE Aiden Crop Shirting (S) // The classic striped button-up from EVEREVE gets a modern refresh with its cropped length and boxy fit. Long sleeves with button tabs make cuffing your sleeves effortless and add a chic, laid-back touch. It comes in blue and beige—and I liked it so much, I grabbed both!

also wearing: EVEREVE Gia Cowl (S) // Schutz Arissa (8) // similar belt // Freja Caroline

#9. MOTHER The Tomcat High Waist Crop Skinny Jeans in Cream Puffs (30 ) // These slim straight ankle jeans come in MOTHER Denim’s signature stretch fabric and an on-trend ecru wash. The fit and feel are so good—and I have no idea why they’re 59% off at Nordstrom Rack, especially since they’re still full price on the Nordstrom site. If these have been on your wish list, it’s a deal worth grabbing.

#5. Paul Green Hadley Platform Sneaker; also at Zappos (8) // My all-time favorite white leather sneakers. The leather is incredibly soft and luxe, with great arch support and plenty of cushioning. They’re comfortable right out of the box—no break-in time needed. I also love the subtle platform and easy slip-on style. They work with everything from jeans and shorts to casual dresses. They’re definitely a splurge, but the quality and comfort make them worth it.

also wearing: MOTHER Margarita Tee (M) // Aritzia Homestretch Pant (M)

#4. Gap Factory Relaxed Fleece Hoodie (S) // This soft fleece hoodie is the perfect casual layer for spring. With a relaxed fit, shorter 22” length, and classic details like raglan sleeves and kangaroo pockets, it’s easy to throw on over tees and tanks this spring and summer.

also wearing: AllSaints Stevie Tee (M) // similar belt // Hint of Blu wide leg jeans (29)

#2. KUT from the Kloth Amanda Boxy Twill Jacket (S) // This military-inspired jacket is made from soft, stretchy twill and has a slightly boxy fit. The longer 23 ½” length is still cropped enough to look current, but it offers a little more coverage than some of the shorter styles out there. It comes in several good neutral colors, and it runs true to size.

And in first place… Drum roll please!!! 🥁

#1. Steve Madden Verdict Mesh Sneaker; also at Macy’s and Zappos (8.5) // These low-profile mesh sneakers are lightweight, breathable, and perfect for spring. I love the slip-on design—easy to throw on and go—and they come in a bunch of great colorways. Bonus: they’re super affordable, too.

Top Ten Beauty Favorites

These are the top selling beauty products from last month. These are also listed in typical Top Ten order, with the most popular one last.

#10. ELEMIS On the Glow Boosting Skincare Set // This set is perfect if you want glowing, hydrated skin. It comes with three Elemis skincare favorites, plus a little canvas tote. I’ve been using this trio in the mornings, and my skin has never felt softer and smoother.

#9. DAE Hair Cactus Fruit 3-In-1 Styling Cream & Taming Wand // This styling cream is supposed to be a lifesaver for taming flyaways. The compact size makes it easy to toss in your purse for quick, fuss-free touch-ups whenever you need them!

#8. tarte Key Largo GLOW Body Oil & Brush // If you want an instant glow, this is it! This body oil gives skin a dark, even tan that looks natural and blends beautifully. It’s perfect for when you don’t want to wait a few hours for your tan to develop. Best of all, it doesn’t have that unpleasant odor we often associate with self-tanning products.

#7. The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner // If you’re looking for an affordable way to gently exfoliate and refresh your complexion, this toner comes highly recommended by beauty lovers everywhere. It’s known for brightening dull skin, smoothing texture, and helping to even out tone over time.

#6. medicube Collagen Overnight Wrapping Peel Off Facial Mask Pack // This overnight mask claims to lock in moisture, boost collagen, and leave your face feeling plump and refreshed by morning! It comes off in one piece, which sounds too intriguing not to try.

#5. Davines Replumping Hair Filler Superactive // My hair stylist recommended this to me, and it’s been a game-changer for my fine, thin hair. You just spray it on clean, damp hair and finger-comb it through before blow-drying—it plumps up each strand, making your hair look and feel noticeably fuller and thicker. Plus, it’s designed to help protect against breakage. It is a bit of a splurge, but a little goes a long way. Bonus: it’s sustainably produced and free of parabens and other harsh chemicals.

#4. MAYBELLINE Super Stay Teddy Lip Tint // This lip tint claims to last for hours without drying out your lips. The buildable formula lets you layer it for a deeper shade or keep it light for a more natural look.

#3. Coco & Eve Self Tanner Mousse Kit // My friend, Cyndi, swears by this sunless tanner, and I’m always up for trying a new one. Based off of her amazing reviews and all of the ones on Amazon, I just popped this into my cart.

#2. Megababe Skincare Deodorant // I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz about this deodorant and how amazing it smells, so I’m going to give it a try. It’s aluminum free and suppoedly last 72 hours.

#1. Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment // This exfoliating scrub has little scrubby bits to clear out pores, fruit enzymes to brighten, and lactic acid to gently exfoliate. Plus, honey and aloe keep it from being too harsh. It’s AMAZING. I keep it in my shower and use it 3-4 times a week, and I can always tell when I’ve used it because my skin looks glowy and fresh all day. You can get it at Nordstrom, Sephora, and Amazon.

And that’s a wrap on March’s top ten in fashion and beauty! I always love seeing what resonates most with you each month. If you picked up any of these, I’d love to hear what you think—or if something else became a new favorite, let me know in the comments!
